About Us

Coach Mike Kendall

Coaches, Parents and Wrestlers,

My name is Mike Kendall and I am excited about my move to NWA and the direction the board members and coaching staff are going with the Bentonville Wrestling Club.  The BWC will begin in mid-October at the Classical Academy School. During the folkstyle season we will practice folkstyle wrestling. After the season has completed we will transition to the Cardiac Kids WC competing in Greco Roman and Freestyle from March-July. This club will travel to State, Regional and National events in and out of Arkansas.

Being a coach for over 20 years I have helped develop many wrestlers into State Champions, State Placers, Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman All Americans at the toughest tournaments in the country. If you are interested in becoming a better wrestler, a better person, a better son/daughter and want to have a positive experience in wrestling, then give us a call, text or email. Here is a little info about Coach Kendall’s wrestling and coaching milestones:

  • Received my BA at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
  • The first 4x North Carolina State HS Champion, with a record of 153-0
  • Represented Team USA in the prestigious Dapper Dan Classic in 1991
  • Greco Roman National Champion
  • Greco Roman and Freestyle All American
  • ACC Champion
  • 2002-03 North Carolina 4A Coach of the Year
